Speaking of which, I saw complete VZ-58 rifles in a recent distributor's flyer for like $599; they used to go for almost double that!

Be warned, the cheap vz58s are Century built with a US made 16", non-chrome lined barrel. It is definitely worth the extra $300 to get a genuine, CZ built vz58 from Czechpoint. Czechpoint's guns are brought into the country as single stack mag guns. The receiver is milled out to accept 30 round mags.

Czechpoint USA - distributor of Sa vz. 58 rifles and Sa vz. 61 Scorpions

$899 all inclusive. Pay once and pick up at you FFL.:yesway:

CAI guns are built from spare parts and seem to be ok, but for the $$ difference I would go with one made by the same people who have been putting them together for 50 years!:twocents:
I built mine from a kit and got all my spare parts from them. Top notch customer service. The next complete one I get will be from these guys.
