I work in anderson. We have used 9mm for over 20 years in the 5906. The 40 Glock was approved in 2002, but we had problems with them so we went to Glock 9mm's. Currently looking at allowing 21's for patrol. Ive used a 34 for 5 years or so. At first I used it because I was exempt from the firearms policy due to SWAT, then e got it approved for everyone. Only 5 on the street right now.....we have to buy our own guns. State troopers carry 9mm Glock 17's BTW.
