    Also, w/many of the mfg. the pistol caliber carbines are limited seasonal runs. You get one when you get one.
    And as others have said, a few wks before deer season isn't optimal timing.

    OP. Did you know that, if you go to the sporting goods section at Wal-mart, they can order one for you. And sell it to you cheaper than most gun dealers can buy it?
    Sad, but true. By the way, is this for fun, or for deer hunting? If it is for deer hunting, I would move up to a 44 mag. The deer don't run as far that way. And 44 mag in a rifle has almost no kick. Just my :twocents: worth.
