    Flex depends on the blend used. On my FN five seven it was extremely hard from the factory, you aren't making it flex without a hydraulic press. USPs generally are too.

    Glocks will flex quite a lot, I've got some old ones and they still flex fine.

    Scientifically speaking, that is what interests me. Is it based on projected forces a caliber will produce over time, or just proprietary blends in their material. I understand carry weight can be an issue for LEO/Mil and those who could probably lose a little bit of the 'ol tactical calorie pack.
