I hate the corporate love affair with the word "leader." Every supervisor or manager is now a "leader." True leaders aren't appointed and you certainly don't learn it from a seminar.

"Look, I"ll be honest..." Anything that comes after this phrase is usually a lie.

    "Irregardless." That's not a word.

"No offense, but..." Anything that comes after this phrase is bound to be offensive.

"Obviously..." Well if it's obvious then you don't need to say it.

"Sorry for..." Don't be sorry, just don't do it.

I have just one. But my hatred for this runs deep. When you text someone and they reply with

"K" ............I lose my mind when people text me that.

    Drinking your milkshake
"You can't have your cake and eat it, too."
Um...YES, you can. That's why the correct saying is "You can't EAT your cake and have it, too".

Haha, IIRC you were the first person to express your disdain for this "expression" the last time someone posted this topic.

It's not the actual expression that is bad, it's the messing it up part...like when someone says, "I could care less." Well, no **** you could care less, what is your point?

Mine: "It is what it is."

I'm not a violent person, but I want to slap anyone who tries to puke that out as a rebuttal in a debate.
