    The ammo argument is a little silly. If you are in TEOTWASKI situation, and you are put in a situation that requires a defensive handgun, the odds are that the shootee will be bringing ammo/weapons to the equation as well. That is a resupply opportunity right there(if you end up on top).

    As far as what I would choose, anything that I have, and I know to be reliable will suffice, but I would probably steer clear of the Lorcin/hi-point variety, and stick with Ruger, Smith, Taurus, ect.

    Kel_Tec...really????? So why are these guns fetching thousand plus of$$. I EDC a pf9 not one hiccup in over 3 years. Trust my life on it.

    My Bersa has been one of the most reliable handguns I have ever owned.
    I have Rugers which are every bit as reliable, and a SW Shield, which is also
    perfect.
    My Rossi (Taurus) revolver has over 1,000 rounds through it with no issues.
    Now, I agree with anyone who says Kel-Tec's are POS.

    In my opinion, based on 28 years in DEA, the Raven has this one hands down. When facing a criminal armed with one of these, the safest place you can be is directly in front of him.
