    Right now I'm tickled about the 70 grain 5.56 for my 1 in 7 twist Mini-14. A match made in heaven from what I am finding from the Mini-14 gurus.

    OP, be sure to read the fine print on some of those Gov discount programs, they specify active duty military on a lot of them. I too qualify for some of the discounts, but have been disapointed on a couple of occasions when I went to make a purchase only to find out that it is only for active duty/retired & LEO.
