no need to harp on me, it was a joke me and hickman have a storied history with glocks. now if I can just get him go to the sig side my mission will be complete.

I harp on everyone who doesn't agree with me on pistols :D

It goes like this (for me):

    M&P > P99 > Sig 226/229 > PX4 > XD > Glock

Ok I honestly hate the tigger, and grip angle of the glock. I like the design of the Xd mags better. The Xd's, are a bit bigger on the slide. As for two safeties. It does make it a safer gun, in my opinion. Also I think Glocks are some ugly *** guns. Not saying they are crap, but I deffently prefer the Xd. You need to find what you like. Does not matter what others like. Opinions are fine, but in the end it's what matters to you.

    I prefer Glock pistols.

The "grip safety" knocks the XD line out of the running for me personally.

The fact that MDFI claims to have one XD per class go down was a surprise to me. I put a lot of stock in what runs/doesn't run in training classes, as that is generally the closest to "run hard" as most of us "Civilian Gun Owners" get. It's only a single data-point, but an interesting one I hadn't heard before. https://www.indianagunowners.com/fo...448-mdfi_handgun_1_oct3_09_thoughts_pics.html

I've never shot an M&P before and would be interested in the comparison.

I call BS. Sounds like an agenda. :bs:

    On who's part?

MDFI's for saying they see XDs fail?

I can't be 100% sure, but I don't believe they are sponsored by Glock or S&W. I'm not sure what they'd have to gain by fabricating that information.

Or mine for asking the questions?

I was honestly surprised to hear his report. I used to look at XDs like "Glocks with a grip safety". It was the first time I'd heard of someone seeing consistent failures with XDs.

It's the ONLY time I've heard anyone say it.
