Hypothetical... you own a few glocks, a ruger lcp, 20 and 12 gauge pump shotguns (long barrel, no pistol grip models), a wasr 10, and a beretta .22 neo. You have $1200 cash to spend maximum. What do you buy next?

    ar15 (m&p15t)
    revolver (s&w 686 plus)
    1911 (?)
    shotgun (remington 1100 tac2)
    ammo for existing collection

...or something not on the list. That could mean a category not listed, or a different model within the genre.

Looks like you have the basic weapons needed

How many hands do you have ???

Mags and ammo before both are banned or the prices go threw the roof

    I would start today :tinfoil:

An 18.5" / 20" barrel for one of the 12's, Surplus 30's for that WASR, a "k" framed .357 revolver and then a .22 rifle to have fun with. Any additional comfortably spent funds on ammo.

But if you'd put a purpose in mind, that'd help narrow it down :).

    id get a s&w 15-22=$460.00

then you got $740.00 left and could definitely build a AR15 for that

but with that budget u could go alot of ways

    price gotten from buds

Thats what I'm thinking... although to be honest It would be more for fun than need at this point.

I should get more mags and ammo really...

    AR 15

    I would still pick up a .22 rifle. A 10/22 or an M&P 15-22.

You would still have enough left over to pick up an AR kit to do a cheap build.

My brother has a 10/22... Id like to have one but at this point I could always just snag one.

As for the ar15... I am a complete n00b when it comes to them and building them. What do you consider "cheap" while still being reliable and not a plastic pos (I'm talking each piece).

    Thanks!

I'd buy an AR and a 10/22, then maybe a basic training course. But really, any combination of your stated options would be good. And, not to beat that dead horse, but one can't have too many mags or too much ammo.

I would probably get a threaded barrel and a suppressor for one of those Glocks.

    :)

Too much $$ and too much paperwork at this point. I will have it eventually, but It's not really worth it to me to cut a few DB's.

And, not to beat that dead horse, but one can't have too many mags or too much ammo.

I'm thinking thats the smart route... although I REALLY want like 5000 more guns haha.
