Here's one that I coined back in high school. Back in Tech Club, the discussion made it's way onto Jurassic Park for some reason. Some of the members talked about how it would be cool if we brought dinosaurs back, and me, seeing that they obviously didn't get the moral of the movie, said: We shouldn't bring velociraptors back, "because I don't want to need an AR-15 just to cross the street". Since then, that has become kind of a trope within my circles whenever taking about a dystopia or end of the world movie or scenario, where something so trivial would be very dangerous.
