I've thought about going but ultimately too many people with too little situational awareness in too small of an area kept me away as usual. A lot of the more interesting stuff seems to make it to Kickstarter long before GenCon anyway and the new game release hype has been pretty underwhelming this year, IMO.

While you're there, try to get video of any antifa activity, especially if it's active recruiting. I predicted in another topic that antifa would be there recruiting.

Yes I will be there. This will be my first year of going as an attendee. I've been to every Gen Con that was held in Indy, but never played any games. I just taught games, and judged tournaments. This year I'm not working, I am playing.

I have tickets to games on each day.

I will keep an eye out for antifa. It will be interesting if they are there, and probably a good recruiting area for them. GenCon is a mixed bag. There are the loud ones that always get a stage, but most of the people I meet there just want to game.
