where in the video was he told to leave? at what time mark? i didnt see it or hear it. btw i dont have an alchohol problem the cops have a mental problem. they cant tell the difference between a moving vehicle and a parked one. i learned that without going to the academy.

At the very beginning the security guard tried to tell him it was private property, but he refused to listen and started screaming at guys doing their jobs.

I'm sure they asked him to leave but you can't hear it over him screaming public access:dunno:

The guy holding the sign is obviously a mental patient. It's for his own good.
I don't see where's he's being mental. Loud maybe but not mental. Just because he likes the color red and you like blue doesn't make him mental. Different maybe but not mental. Maybe everyone who likes red should move to another Country and leave you to your own demise.

Right. But another patron tells them it's public property.

Watch the video between 0:03 and 0:09. And actually listen to it. He is told at least twice by what are apparently agents of the owner that it is private property.

According to the fair spokesman the grounds are private property. He was told to leave. He didn't. Then he went to jail. :yesway: Same as he would have on my property. You have no rights on my property. Besides the right to get your ass kicked off it.

What he is...is a dumb *** that believes he has the right to do whatever he wants...where ever he wants. He doesn't.

public servant. so if someone is tresspassing on my property I can use the exact same force as the mall cops used on this guy? Serious question.
Could you? Sure you could. Would it bite you in the ***? Probably when you applied handcuffs. In reality...there was nothing excessive in their attempt to remove him. They attempted to escort him from private property. He decided he wasn't going. They put him on the ground.

What does Alaska law allow? I have no idea. One account I read stated the security personnel worked for a private firm. Were they comprised of off duty LEO? I have no idea. If they weren't LEO I'd have rather seen them wait for the troopers.

My personal opinion is that if you step on someone's private property and they ask you a couple of times to leave and you refuse...you'll probably get what you have coming. But that is nothing more than my personal opinion. :twocents:

I hate that a "State Fair" is held on private property. That is absurd. I believe several Indiana county fairs are however. I also hate that the Indiana State Fair doesn't allow law abiding citizens the opportunity to protect themselves. You couldn't pay me to go there unarmed. I know too many of the patrons. :):

thats what you get when you hire dumb asses to be cops. you get dumb ass results. I would have loved to see the crowd just converge and kick the crap out of the security guards.

 I couldn't agree more. Assault an innocent person, prepare to be assaulted yourself in that person's defense. It's as clear-cut as it can be.

Did anyone else notice the trooper asked the 2 morbidley obese rentacops if they were OK while the old man screamed in pain?

I have a feeling the old man is a Vietnam vet, just a guess.
