Just called them. They said I got the last one. It was the display model. They let me put it on layaway with 25% down over the phone. I'm going over next Saturday to pick it up when I go over to Merrilville to work. Thanks for the heads up Spot Me 2. Rep'd.

Good find ! Now you'll have to get some PMAGS , the factory DPMS mags suck .
Saw two of them sell while I was there about 45 minutes ago.
While checking out (no, I didn't buy one), I asked how they'd been selling - three had sold in the last hour, they thought they had six left.
Said they had been in inventory for quite awhile, and the price was not a mistake.
I'd suggest calling around to the other stores (Milwaukee and Dundee, MI are the closest) and having them do a transfer if you are wanting one.

guess i got good ones with mine.....over 1k threw both factory mags and not a 1 FTF or jam......shot it yesterday....100rd no trouble...

The price IS a mistake. I just called Dundee and Richfield, Wi. Both said the price was $999.00 for the 308. The 556 is $699. Niether store had them in stock either by the way.
Not arguing with you, just repeating what I was told by the fellow I've always assumed to be the firearms department manager.
He's said it several times and said it again today - if something has been sitting for long enough - he can do about whatever he'd like with it price wise.

my AP4 has the swivel on the bottom of the sight/gas block....

get a single point sling attachment point that mounts at the base of the recoil spring housing or drill and tap the bottom of the gas block for a sling stud. Lots of possibilities and all they cost is money.
