I agree. Killer deal on the rifle = more money to set it up how you want it. I have found out so far there arn't a lot of rail options. I think I will put a 1-4 scope on it, not sure what else yet.

Around noon, we called and was told that there were three left and that the price was indeed $699. I even drove out there.

But there was hope, they would order it for me. I placed the order.

I just got a call saying that that was a mistake and he (the person calling) wasn't authorized to make that kind of price reduction.

I guess it didn't hurt to try.

They were not advertised at that price. The 556 Oracles were. The .308 were $999-$1049. .......and I tried...no dice!

Why am I always a day late and a dollar short? Dangit! I would have bought one of those without a second thought. My DPMS 308B needs a little brother.

You found a great deal, and please up date this thread if you find any way of getting to sell them again for that price. Such a no-brainer deal, I wish I'd have read this a couple days ago.
