Hey, we KNOW Palin is stupid right? So facts that indicate she is not stupid are an anomoly and facts that indicate she IS stupid are valid. In this way, you never have to revise your point of view.

Years ago, a friend brought his very liberal girlfriend to our house. We got involved in a discussion. She asserted that my wife and I, based on the kind of house we live in, could never understand the plight of people who weren't born with all the advantages.

When I pointed out that my wife was the daughter of a career military enlisted man, and she put herself through college and graduate school, and I pointed out that I was the first person on my father's side to graduate from college and that I had put myself through school and also that I had lived my first 12 years in a trailer - not a double wide, either, none of that mattered to her.

She said, "Well obviously you guys are exceptional, so you still can't understand people who came from unpriveleged backgrounds who are not so exceptional."

So, Palin is stupid, and when she's smart she's still stupid, just lucky.

George W. Bush wasn't smart either, as I recall. He was just lucky to graduate from Yale, get an MBA from Harvard, and learn how to fly a fighter jet. Those things are really, really hard to do when you're as stupid as he is.

The "Media" said that GW's daddy was the reason he got through Yale and Harvard, yet, when someone on the Right makes inquiries into Obama's education, they are "racists"..:n00b:

As for Obama's gaffes, I love the excuse that he was "tired from his hectic schedule and mis-spoke"

Palin is a joke, she has zero shot at being President. Only a fool would vote for someone who has already quit as the Governor of a state when the going to a little tough. Or maybe she left to focus on the book tours, speaking engagements, trips to dancing with the stars, or whatever other money making scheme she has to dupe the schmucks who pay to see her.

    Let's see..

Why wouldn't you agree with me? It's not like you are an ex-girlfriend.:D

    Well....
It's been my experience, over the years, that many Lawyers treat Cops the same way that the Left Wing Media treats Sarah Palin.
    With disdain and loathing.
Agreeing with one is not something I'm used to. :D

She did bail on bail Alaska, and that makes her un-electable to me. Of all the things people cite about Palin, that one is the one that gives me a poor opinion of her. Do I think she'll run? Nope. Will she tell her supporters that until the deadline to file? Nope. I think she's nothing more than an opportunist that's having a good time with her fame and lining her pockets with the money from the people that support her.

Who cares what Palin has to say? She has ZERO chance at the top spot. Can the Republicans find someone who is or are they just going to concede and let Obama get another 4 years? When Obama was campaigning, he knew what to say and how to say it to garner votes. His supporters LOVE him. At election time he gained votes from conservatives (Some RINO's and some actual conservatives) that normally would never vote Democrat. Why? Republican candidates lack the ability to bridge the party gap. Republicans need more charisma. Like it or not, personality goes a long way in an election. Lack it, and it will be that much harder to be elected. I do not follow the common thought that Bush Jr was dumb. Quite the opposite, I thought he really wanted to do the right thing as President and worked hard at it. However, I cringed every time he spoke. His speaking abilities were horrible and as a result, he came across as dumb. Obama won on personality. This is not surprising considering the current state of our population. Reality shows rule the TV and headlines about celebrity couples dominate those of our warriors. The cult of personality is strong to the masses. Palin too is smarter than she comes across I am sure. However, her personality is too divisive to win an election and her public speaking is horrible. I look forward to her 15 min of fame coming to an end. NONE of the Republican candidates so far give me ANY hope this coming election. SSDD same recycled candidates who tried and tried before.

Palin is a horses ass. Just clueless. She needs to stick to her reality show, crappy books, and toting around her daughter talking about why having pre marital sex is bad. LOL

Now please don't mince words--just tell us how you really feel!

She is still more qualified to be president than our current one -- or most of the people in his administration who, as far as I have been able to discover, have never even run a lemonade stand, let alone something as big and complicated as the United States.

Not sure what the big deal about teleprompters is? Presidents have been using them since I was a kid.

Actually I was jokingly referring to the "Teleprompter in Chief" which tells Obama what to say. He isn't really very eloquent without it.

Add me to the list. I'm no "palinite" or even a "palin lover", but the way the media attacks her reminds me of Dan Quayle. Good person that they chose to destroy to further their leftist political views.

Problem is, Im not. I can just see the truth. I just couldn't get behind a quitter when she/he or whomever is applying for arguably the most stressful and difficult job in the world. If she cant handle Alaska, what makes you think she can handle the entire world?

Besides, she may not be a Mensa candidate, but she is not dumb enough to turn down the millions she gets from suckers everyday on her tours.

How so? Because she was the Mayor of Waslia, AK and a quitter on the rest of the state? Dont get me wrong, I pretty much agree with nothing Obama has done while in office. But at least he can command an audience and at sound like he graduated college.

She chose to RESIGN rather than lose all her and her husband property and declare bankrupcy along with all her staff having to do to the same thing. It was a reasonable decision made by a reasonable person.

Morons "commanding" morons is nothing to jump up and down about.
Obama is this nations worst president and you giving him any kudos for anything is telling as to who the "suckers" really are.

Don't fill up on all the anti-Obama :koolaid:. I'm not saying Obama is a great or even good President, history will answer that question. However, no one fails at everything they do and saying Obama has done NOTHING right smells of partisan politics. I did not like Bush Jr and I do not like Obama but to say that neither one did ANYTHING right while in office is incorrect. I am not shackled to the Republican or Democrat label allowing me see the + and - of each party. My grandpa on the other hand is a Republican through and through. They can do no wrong and the Dems can never do right. If the Republicans nominate a rock for President he would vote for it since there is an "R" next to it. Those are the partisan politics that do NOTHING to advance our nation.

One thing to add about the "resigning." She was the subject of several lawsuits in her capacity as governor, mostly relating to the use of gov't property and "openness." My understanding is that in Alaska, public officials had to pay for that defense out of their own pocket. I think that changed, but did not apply to the litigation she was in.

That's part of what created the problem.

I'm sure the other part was the life-changing/lottery-type money she could make in the private sector. Kinda like a kid leaving college his senior year to play professional sports. "Quit" college? Yeah. Have a pretty good reason? Yeah. (IMHO.)
