Just be careful guys. These whacko's get a good portion of their income from litigation. They go somewhere and protest just hoping that someone will try something. Then when it does happen, they sue on the basis that their freedom of religion/speech was violated. So, DO NOT INITIATE ANY CONFLICT!!!! However, the 1st Amendment is on your side if you want to stand in the middle of them and call them names. (I'm sure you can be creative ) Then if you are attacked, you might just have to defend yourself.

Or you can just take lots of friends and take all the good protest spots before they get there.

Why can't they picket the war in-country?

I'd like to go but don't know if I'll be able to swing it, guess it depends on the details. However, for those so inclined, I think a counter-protest that targets their message (as opposed to them or their presence) would be a powerful response. Signs that read something like "God doesn't hate his children" or "Love can't hate." Although the reality is that their "religion" is just an excuse to be mean and vindictive. They probably don't really care.

Still a nice theological discussion with one of them would be fun too.

I always look forward to a good discussion, but I've heard from those who have tried that it results in them accusing you of being a fag-lover and storming off in a huff.

I will be calling Mooresville PD this morning to see if they need some extra guys. Six of our guys said they would go and help on their own dime.

I should know here in a few if they are needing any traffic assistance ect. Some of my coworkers and myself are going even if they have enough traffic control help. If for nothing else than to show our support. Anyone from the west, south side or Hendricks County area that wants to go and ride down feel free to PM me.

BTW this sounds like a great OC opportunity since the church does not have a school on the grounds.

My boss is a member there and lives in mooresville and when I told him about this he said there are enough "Redneck there that it probably wont be pretty if they actually try anything."
