PM sent! By the way post the detail on in this thread we need to have an organized approach to this. I nominate you for that task.

BTW this sounds like a great OC opportunity since the church does not have a school on the grounds. :draw:

My boss is a member there and lives in mooresville and when I told him about this he said there are enough "Redneck there that it probably wont be pretty if they actually try anything."
    :D

Yea I will post what details I get when I get them for anyone interested. It would be nice to have 10K normal people there irregardless if the westboro loons will be there or not.

I believe I may be in, as well as my best friend's dad (his son, my best friend is currently in afgan) and his other son. If you could keep me updated with the POA that would be great

    got a pm from J706

He said he has learned that the sheriff will be in charge of the funeral and not the towns police department. he is still waiting to hear from them but will post when he knows more.

If I wasn't going to be stuck in Bloomington, I would be there, blocking the entrance or organizing a large perimeter of "armed guards" around the ceremony

I will be there. This young man is one of my best friends cousins. I was told the family is concerned about the presence of the church. I will be there to aid in making sure the family has the chance to honor him for his service.

The support from those who can make it, will be much appreciated. Thanks for your support, the family will be comforted knowing they can do what has to be done in peace.

I plan on being there also, with a flag of course. I will be wearing my unit ball cap and a patriotic shirt. These people have no respect whatsoever. How would they feel if they lost a loved one? People like that are not worth the ground they walk on. Karma is a SOB!

My wife contacted the sheriffs department there for me. ( She works for the same PD as me) She is saying that there is two service members form Moorseville that have been killed in the last week. I had not heard that and have not been able to confirm it.

    What I have so far is;

    Scott Smith
Friday a memorial with an escort of some type (details unknown) Their will be a memorial service form 1700 hours to 2000 hours at Mt. Gideon

Saturday is the showing from 1200 hours and services at 1300 hours.

The Morgan County SD is handling all of the traffic and escort details as posted above. I have not found out any thing in detail. I would assume they are kinda busy at the time. I guess they had some sort of a child death yesterday also.

While my wife and I do not ride, we plan on being there tomorrow with flags in hand. In fact, I have a HUGE flag that would probably block them off completely if someone wants to help us hold it up. I thought I might attach each end to a 7' pole and stretch it out. Thoughts?

tell me when and where and I will gladly hold the other end of the flag. Unfortunately I can't come to tonight's services but plan to be there tomorrow.

On April 19th,1775, Paul Revere and William Dawes, rode the back roads of Boston. Their mission, to call up patriots. They had no phones, internet, only horses, to ride and spread the word that the help of the people was needed. In 6 hours, they were able to spread the word enough that by the time the British Regulars headed back to Boston from Concord, approximately 14,000 militia were waiting for them along Battle Rd.

My call out for you, lets help this patriots family to show support for a fallen hero. He had sat down to wipe the sweat from his brow, and was shot by a sniper. Bring flags and show your pride in country, and this century patriot.:patriot: DHolder

I really want to go but don't think I could control myself should I have to confront those p ricks! Even my gf suggested I shouldn't go, and it isn't because she is against the boy or his family or our guys on the front lines, she knows how I feel about the westboro baptist "church"!
