I believe my thread has been jacked. I am sad now.

    And pants are overrated.

That's how we roll around here. :D I get your point about kids having manners but I don't think its all of them. I consider it bad manners to trick or treat at a house that is obviously intentionally blacked out. My doorbell has rang over a dozen times already.

So I noticed that about 85% of trick or treaters said "Thank you" tonight. Was quite refreshing really.

It is very refreshing. My wife and I are handing out handfuls of candy because we always buy too much. Halloween is my favorite holiday. Polite kids get extra handfuls of sour patch kids and Reese pumpkins!!!!!!!!!!:rockwoot:

Stately Freeman Manor is overrun with kids! Some of the younger ones are running up the steps to my hill on their hands and feet, like mini Shaolin monks in training.:D

I just had Shaggy, Scooby and The Wolfman visit.:D

They're just too well behaved around here. I have obvious lights on inside, but none outside. Not one ring so far. Is there hope for a world of civility, or are the parents merely in fear of their offsprings' purity? Would it matter?

I gave out soup and salad to the kids. They should have brought bowls instead of pillow cases.
