    Yes, very bad form on my behalf and new that quickly hence leaving ASAP and the follow up apology. The question though is can they legally deny me entry? I have been looking up regs and law codes and it seems to me that they are discriminating against me disallowing entry. (This really would not be an issue for me but my company uses this venue for events and it may effect my ability to attend important work related events)

    Well, you might lose your job then, when your boss finds out about your indiscretion. You made a big mistake.

    This is a bitter pill to swallow but yes, they can bar you from the premises.

    Look we are being hard on you, and you deserve it. But consider it a lesson learned. As far as being banned they have the right. I suggest you seek a private conversation with the owner/manager and offer you sincere apologies and ensure them it won't happen again.

    If you were in my establishment and you decided to unholster and unload your firearm I would kick you out as well. I would likely also ask that should you ever return that you be unarmed.

    A firearm *can* go off while being unloaded or loaded. What if you were one of the idiots that pulls the mag but forgets about the one in the chamber? You hand your gun over to your friend and the first thing they do is pull the trigger and BAM somebody is shot or at the least tons of people are scared.

    If you're going to carry, be smart, no coonfingering any weapon in public.

    It's private property. They can deny pretty much anyone they want. You really have no legal recourse here. Just stay away before you get hammered with a trespass.

    They can discriminate against you for carrying if they choose. Nothing illegal about it.

    IC 35-43-2-2
    Criminal trespass; denial of entry; permission to enter; exceptions
    Sec. 2. (a) A person who:
    (1) not having a contractual interest in the property, knowingly or intentionally enters the real property of another person after having been denied entry by the other person or that person's agent;
    (2) not having a contractual interest in the property, knowingly or intentionally refuses to leave the real property of another person after having been asked to leave by the other person or that person's agent;

    ....and as the night was winding down for our group around 8pm I hugged my friends goodbye and was found out for carrying. My friend wanted to see my Springfield 1911 EMP 9mm. Without thinking it through I unholstered and unloaded the gun before showing it to him at the bar.

    You are exactly who none of us want carrying a firearm. Sell your guns and let the police provide for your protection.

    ^^Op, go ahead and do yourself a favor and add this guy to your ignore list. He likes to act like he speaks for the entire community, when in reality he actually speaks for almost none of us.

    Right now us gun owners are fighting to save our rights, and this just gives them one more reason to try to take them away. Also google as all the pics you could even want, and YouTube.
