    To the OP;

    You could certainly gain some credibility if you made an effort to at least try to make a post that looks as if it shouldn't be for phone txt viewing only. I'm not much for grammar nazi's either, but making a post readable with caps, puntuation and paragraphs could go a long way towards establishing you aren't of a 13 year old mentality.

    Please take this suggestion as constructive criticism. It is intended as such. Nothing personal sir! :ingo:

    There is still the problem of mom yelling at the Gander Guy, further reinforcing the 13 year old thing...

    So, back in 2011 I went to Gander Mountain and bought the new Springfield Armory xdm45. I filled out the paperwork legally and paid cash. My joy was cut short by my brother in law, who told my parents, at the time who I was still living with. I was 25 and living in Michigan, his reason for telling was because it was his job as a priest because he thought I was upset or some other bs reason. Yeah, I went to a conceal carry class for 8hrs cause I was upset. So my mom yelled at the gun guy at Gander Mountain and I ended up giving the gun to a friend who kept it in the box from day 1. As of last Wednesday he sent it back to me. So, I got my gun back and can't wait to carry it.

    I just don't see my Mom reacting to me this way at the age of 25. Not living with her helped.

    ...but the world is full of all kinds.

    @glumanz28 not yet going to the range this weekend but I did open carry since I don't have a iwb holster yet,

    Am I the only one that caught this? You've got what essentially is a new, untested gun... wait, is this your only handgun? Where'd the holster come from?

    Isn't this the new norm? Carry a gun that you've never shot. Carry a gun that isn't very reliable, like a 1911. Buy vehicles that you can't afford. Have multiple credit cards. Live paycheck to paycheck.
