In what way to Starbucks and Target not honor state law?

"Dear Customer" letters have no legal statutory meaning, and do not compel customers to act in any given manner. As far as I know, neither establishment even puts up statutorily meaningless "no beretta" signs.

Starbucks, used to "allow" OC, and they back pedaled, several years ago .....

When I lived in Greenfield, we had a couple of OC "events" at Starbucks .....

But when they caved in to the "left", I quit going .....

I really didn't like the coffee, anyway, so to me it was NO big loss .....

TARGET, has been anti gun, since their beginning .....

    JMHO ..... YMMV .....

BTW... The Indiana Court of Appeals just reaffirmed that: "..law enforcement may not arbitrarily detain an individual to ensure compliance with licensing and registration laws without particularized facts supporting an inference of illegal conduct."
In other words, you can't be stopped JUST to verify your LTCH, without any further cause by the police, so I would think a Security Guard would have no legal justification whatsoever.

This is a fantastic decision for the Hoosier state.

Well I am glad I came across this. I moved back here from Michigan. I never got into guns until I moved to Michigan, you move there and need a pickup and shotgun...lol There you could open carry without your license, I thought it was the same here. Well hopefully I will get my Indiana license soon, been 3.5 weeks since I went to the South bend pd.

Glad to hear you came back. Did you apply for the lifetime? Word on the street they will be getting rid of the lifetime license but if you have it you will be grandfathered in.
