Do a melt on it while you are at it.

I've only shot around 10 rounds through it since I've had it, it wouldn't return to battery on 5 of them, so I installed a Wilson spring kit in it thinking they were just old and weak, but I haven't taken it back out. Also it looks like the front sight is off center a little, almost bent left. I'm not sure if it would be worth fixing or not, what do you mean by "doing a melt on it? Thanks for all the help guys!!

I concur with this logic and thinking.find a used slide peen the rails or lap it if its tight and shoot the crap out of it......
