I lived in that area decades upon decades ago. My wife (R.I.P.) was actually in a situation around the corner in '80 or so.
She was a poor shot with the little pocket Beretta or someone would have left a stain on the ground.
It's not like it's the worst area in Indy but I pick and choose carefully what I do when I'm in that area.

****ing morons like these stains are the reason demoncrats constantly rail against MY gun rights.

    I hope they all burn.

Couldn't be possible---- this looks like a GFZ (note school zone speed limit sign), no guns allowed!! In the early 60's I lived at 30th and Georgetown, we didn't have these kind of problems back then as I recall.

I tell ya, these dang illegal Norwegian immigrants are turning Indy into a chithole.
Thought I heard "Lutefisk" mentioned 3 times in the Ring video up thread.

    Congratulations on not being there.

Other people were there, though. Specifically, I feel sad for the woman who was shot and her family. I also feel sad for the people in the surrounding neighborhood that have to deal with this stupidity.

    Maybe they should move?

So, the whole neighborhood, with the exception of the bad apples, should move? Then the city is left with a neighborhood of nothing but bad apples. That seems like a bad idea.

Also, just up and moving isn't always that easy. Not everyone is as well off as you.

If it worked like that I would support the use of napalm as step one of urban renewal.

Maybe they should work harder, no excuses. I didn't get where I am by taking .gov handouts.

Guess they didn't like the tacos? :dunno:

No, this had to be a simple turf war.

The upstanding proprietors of "Hair for Millioniare$" and "Player of Fade" must have been having a civilized discussion about who was responsible for snow removal in their shared parking lot.

Everything was fine until the negotiations broke down over that final middle space.
H4M felt it should be first come first served, but PoF tried to implement "dibs"

When "Amour Fame Beauty Bar" joined in late and laid claim to the space between, the ensuing disagreement was inevitable after the space claiming device was removed.

I don't take .gov handouts, and while I'm not in this particular neighborhood, there have been multiple shootings in my neighborhood as well.

The world isn't as cut and dry as you seem to think it is.

We have more jobs than people down here and not low paying crap.
    No crime like that anywhere!
It’s like we are not in the same country much less the same state?
To me the safety of my family would take priority over anything if had to move into the most remote hills to keep them safe I would.

I'm no expert, but it sounded like someone was shooting a .223/5.56 and a 7.62. I couldn't discern exactly what the argument was about, but experience tells me it wasn't worth shooting someone over. I drive through that intersection frequently during the nights I work, but I wasn't working that night.
