All this and they are still talking about impeachment.

For what? Because their candidate lost and they're all crybaby losers? :dunno:

Did you read the report? There are some damning things in there.

I think both sides are reading news sources or even portions of the report with an angle that suits their own personal beliefs. Nobody is being unbiased.

Agreed that there are some damning things in the report. Impeachable? Not really.

I think if every president were scrutinized like Trump was for the past two years, we'd find some damning things with their presidencies.

If Trump had a "wing man" (holder's words, not mine) like Eric Holder, and a supportive press like Obama had, it's doubtful any of this would have come to the public's attention. And, if Obama had an AG with the stead-fast integrity of Sessions, and a main stream press motivated to bring a president down, more of his shenanigans would have come out.

But Holder is a hero to Obamanistas. And Sessions is a villain to Trumpers.

And we keep feeding the system ****ed up people through the voting booths. So who is really to blame here.

Getting a little OT, but the main problem is that we have a pretty broad division now, and we have essentially two worldviews fighting over how to order society. Those worldviews are inherently incompatible, so it's not like we can satisfy both by compromise. We're past that. Society can't be ordered by both the group and the individual. It's one or the other.

The system I have faith in is the system which primarily favors individual rights over group rights. I think eventually we'll win. Our subsystems (voting, higher courts, etcetera) may need tweaking to protect us from the mob. But it seems evident that people prefer free societies when they fully understand both.

You know what’s really damning is the way this whole collusion hoax came about and all the characters that helped to perpetuate this hit job to try and first destroy a candidate then a duly elected POTUS.

But that will all come out soon enough under Barr’s investigation that is about to be launched and we’ll see who is still biased in thier personal beliefs and coverages when the real collusion conspiracy to take down President Trump is unveiled and you’re damn straight I’m biased.

It is my personal belief that Trump had good cause to want to put an end to this travesty that was not only perpetuated on him and his family but also the American people.

    Stay tuned...

Just be aware that the Democrat/Media complex will do everything possible to label Barr's investigation as political dirty tricks.
Six of seven networks will suppress the reporting and will lie in the little reporting they do.

    Free Societies

Democrat platform: Socialism everything is FREE.

Republican platform: People are free to excel, middle or fail.

OMG I can't believe CNN actually agreed to publish this. Granted they put it under "opinion" but still ... :faint:

Mueller's report looks bad for Obama

The Mueller report flatly states that Russia began interfering in American democracy in 2014. Over the next couple of years, the effort blossomed into a robust attempt to interfere in our 2016 presidential election. The Obama administration knew this was going on and yet did nothing. In 2016, Obama's National Security Adviser Susan Rice told her staff to "stand down" and "knock it off" as they drew up plans to "strike back" against the Russians

I wonder if this is what obama had in mind when he said he would be more flexible after his election... makes you wonder if they hadn't planned this turmoil all along.

The turmoil all got started involving dept heads in the Obama administration. Comey, Brennen, Clapper among others. One has to wonder how far up the chain it went. This will most likely be part of AG Barr’s investigation.

    ... Question.

The report details how Assange / WikiLeaks fueled conspiracy theories in an effort to "obscure the source of materials" they were posting. Lot of propaganda did go on during 2016.

That same propaganda (not denying if it's true or not) was repeated here. A lot.

    So.

I wonder if anyone here is willing to ... reflect, may be the right word?... on some of the things we've shared over the past few years... and realize we might have been played? Used, perhaps? Led to believe and spread some things that may have rested on shaky grounds?

Well, I remember that Assange strongly implied that the DNC was responsible for the death of Seth Rich and that he was the leaker of the DNC email dump. That was a popular thing back then.

I’m sure stuff like that did take place.

To me it wouldn’t be much different than the way the media manipulates.

This is where I think you actually have it backwards. Hyper individualism is what spawned the left wing of the current time period that has progressed out of the 60s drug binge.

What we had before was a group identity of Americans, hard working, faithful, and above all else committed to our own people and our own goals. These are not individualist traits. Individualism falls into the trap of creating as many camps and classes as possible, dividing the population as far as possible, and banning everything that offends us instead of respecting our neighbor's rights.

Our group identity was rugged individualism, yes, but it was a group identity, don't forget that. We shared that. This may be tangential to your point but it's an important thing to remember.

Hyper individualism always results in direct democracy, because the individual thinks they are more important than the next person. And direct democracy results in voting yourself more money from your neighbor's wallet, because after all, you're more important than they are, and can better make use of it.
