Every now and then I am reminded of some banned members that I miss, Hornady, Jack Ryan, Joe Williams, etc.

I miss Hornady too. The other two I don't know.

Oh... and Rambone, SNS, HarleyRider, 88GT.... lots of good personalities gone.

CathyinBlue, even that unstable guy Mr[something] (drawing a blank, all I get is 'Joshua' which I know is wrong) I would miss if he came with a pitch control

Edit: Perhaps a toast to absent comrades at a future meet and eat

Or amnesty, bring them all back. We know at least one was wrongfully banned.

Then if they muddy the waters in round two, we'll know the initial decision was the right one. :)

The "kindness" of the forum management, dragging their feet in kicking some of those banned members out, likely ran off some good active members. :twocents:

Take note of all of the once active members that no longer choose to regularly participate.

You're going to have to be way more specific

I don’t know who it was actually. One of the streams caught the interview but it was more from behind so there wasn’t any indication which channel it was from. The interview was mostly her lecturing the interviewee about how we should ban guns like they did. As if violent crime would suddenly stop here.

    Of course.
Before guns, there were no killings.

It's true enough that they have much lower violent crime there, and if there are zero guns available to anyone, no one can be violent with guns. UK doesn't have that situation either. But there are a lot more factors than availability of guns that lead to the statistics. There is very low correlation between availability of guns and violent crime. If we rank-ordered the factors in violence, probably income inequality would be #1. The US has many urban centers where poverty is juxtaposed with wealth in a community. A study showed in communities where everyone is poor, or everyone is at least comfortably well off, violent crime is lower than areas that are vastly different. Not that I'm advocating we redistribute wealth, or create poor people internment camps. I'm just making the point that gun availability isn't very high on the list of factors.
