One defendant told me a few years back that the Chicago Police would pepper spray suspects and then leave them in the squad car with the heater running, before releasing them without charges. It didn't deter this one from a life of crime, but it did make an impression on him.

I'm sorry this is happening to you guys.
I expect this type of behavior from animals. Still makes me angry. I'm more angry that the system doesn't do better at protecting our police against these attempted murder type attacks by throwing away the key. Instead they don't even give them a hand slap.
Look at the way these animals talk to and taunt the police in NY and other cities, probably even here. It is shameful. No respect for authority or the law. I'm not a "holster sniffer", I question things in all aspects of life. I dont want to blindly follow. But I respect the law and its agents the police. I support them and I'm grateful for the job they do.
Yeah, I want to see these animals get their teeth knocked out but then they'd get a huge payday and I would hate to see that.
It must really suck being out there feeling like no one has your back. But trust me people do have your backs. A lot of times we just dont know what we can do to help but if you asked for it we will show up

To quote Sgt Esterhaus, "Lets be careful out there." Happened to one of the Cops at the VA Med Center on Wednesday I think. The drunk a-hole in question was positive for Coronavirus. Last I heard the Officer is in quarantine with no symptoms.

After testing positive, he should get an attempted murder charge.

.....and literally as I was typing this thread, a little 17 year old **** head was outside the resource center where we parked our cars throwing chunks of concrete at them, damaging several police cars, including a brand new one.

It's bad enough damaging CVs with 350 gazzilion miles in times of no pandemic...

The worst part is when they get the charges dropped during the plea deal! It happens where I am a lot more often than it use to. Before, there where consequences. Now , it's all about "Hug a Thug". Glad I plan on leaving soon

i'm kind of leaning this way too phylodog. It would take a huge amount of restraint not to splatter some teeth. Our oldest son is a cop in Porter county. I just happen to mention this to him the other day. They are aware of it. And prepping any way they can.
