My typical INGO routine in the morning:

1) Check in with the OSUT thread
2) Skim the Gen Pol threads, skipping to the last post in each unread thread*.
3) Go back to the Break Room and skim the unread posts, similar to Gen Pol.*
4) Visit the General Firearms forum, the Long Guns forum the Outdoor thread to see if there are things that interest me.
5) Just monitor the "Latest Posts" thingy that shows the 5 most recent posts.

*I do go to the first unread post in the funny pic threads, both in Gen Pol and Break Room.

Well, I am definitely both political and on the 'net. While I have a wall of books in my office (most of which I have read), they are also very dusty. I need to start carving out some time away from the 'net to just read. Maybe I will finally finish "Godel, Escher, Bach." Started it in the 80's but never quite finished it.

Most of my reading is on the 'net. But I find reading commentary is more interesting than offering my own two cents.

I have yet to meet Jedi, and yes I I want to see if the stories are true. I've heard his description from other INGOers IRL making the legend more mysterious. Funny enough, I pictured him as a early twenties girl who wore cat ears as she typed when I first starting browsing here three years ago. Maybe it's because I know someone who fits that description who also likes hello kitty Legos and hates going into the woods.

This thread is more entertaining than most things I have seen on TV in the last several years. (Not really a fair statement since I can't recall the last time I turned on the TV and "surfed.")

It does remind me of a visit to traffic court (about 35 years ago). My case was the last one heard. I had brought a book to pass the time, but never opened it. The court proceedings were fascinating. Some defendants presented logical arguments, were respectful and had their cases dismissed or fines drastically reduced.

Others were a dumpster fire. At times I was inclined to shout out "Shut up! You are only making it worse for yourself! How can you be THAT stupid!" But I kept my mouth shut.

My case was dismissed, and it was the most enlightening and entertaining half day of my life.
