      I have 4 kids and they all have a 10/22 as a first gun. Congrats. Be careful, once you start upgrading you can't stop

      Get an idea of what you like, maybe a picture of something similar and start building. Everyone, did I say EVERYONE, has an opinion of what is best.

      PS Could also be the barrel. Last thing once you have ruled out all others, I would question the barrel itself.

      Could be a number of things, tight chamber, dirty chamber, subs not strong enough, ammo? Any updates?

      Had the same intuition, I just picked up a DPMS lr-308. From the research I had done, it is the most accurate out of the box AR10 going for the $.

      Yes, disassemble the mags and clean them with brake cleaner. Just like new
