I have a Davis derringer in 38 cal. It doesn't even make a good doorstop.
Don't waste your money!
38 cal. like a 642 is a good pocket pistol but, it takes a lot of practice to be proficient.
Will a Garrison 9mm count?
I changed out the grips and the sights, reverse crowned the barrel and added a magwell. Installed a 3 1/2-4 lbs. flat trigger.
Let us not forget the skateboard tape.
Years ago, I went to Point Blank in Greenwood. RO came up and tapped me on the shoulder and told me I was shooting to fast.
I turned and told him, if bullets are flying at me, damn right I'm going to shoot fast.
On another note, I was looking for a 22 to buy for my daughter. I saw a nice Ruger...
I used to shop exclusively at a LGS on the south side of Indy.
Then the virus hit.
Lost all the regulars.
Last time I was there, I bought a Sig P320. Salesman had the personality of a door knob. Not helpful at all.
Started going to Highsmiths in Greenfield.
Great inventory, great staff good...
I was shooting a Mark IV 22/45 that belonged to my daughter. It kept stovepiping. I thought maybe my daughter didn't clean it very well so, I took it home and recleaned it and oiled it.
Back to the range, still stovepiping.
Called Ruger, they sent me a return label and away it went.
Here's...
After having 2 knuckles replaced on my rt. hand, I lost a lot of dexterity in my first 2 fingers.
When my trigger finger goes in the trigger guard, it always lands on the point of the trigger.
This is irritating once you get past 50 rds.
For this reason, I have flat triggers on all of my guns...
