      December lake fishing

      Another day on the lake catching some Bass. All 12" but still fun. Tried out my new fish finder. Never used one before, still figuring it out. Tested several new mods to my yak too. Tackle organization, anchor trolley and leashing equipment.

      Huge learning experience

      Took the day off of work to kayak fish Yesterday, decided to head out to Destin Pass and paddled out to the West Jetty. Current was a bit strong pushing me further out towards the Gulf so I made the worst mistake ever, I threw out my anchor. It immediately caught in the rocks and I capsized...

      Kayak Fishing

      47 degrees this morning perfect fishing weather. Karick Lake Baker Florida. Only thing I caught finally a decent bass in this lake.

      New fishing toy!

      Finally after 3 years of looking I finally found the kayak I wanted, for the right price. It's only 9' long and weighs less than 50 pounds. Perfect for those spur of the moment trips. Took it out today worked very well. Got a little wet but that's to be expected. Few fish from last...

      Any Jeepers in here?

      I had a 2002 Wrangler while I was stationed in Alaska. Had some fun in the snow up there. Only had 31's, and a winch. I now have a 1999 Grand Cherokee with 3" of lift on 33's. Much better for the whole family. My wife has a 2007 Grand Cherokee as well. We love our Jeeps!

      Gulf Fishing

      Caught these on July 22 went the weekend before too. Since I live here I get to do a lot of Gulf fishing. Getting my Divers Certification so I can spear fish which will eliminate spending all day catching fish that aren't in season.

      Level Action Rifles

      I have an old Winchester 94 in 30-30 and love it. Very fun to shoot. I take it deer hunting. My buddy has one in .357 and now I want one of those too.

      Do you keep a full mag?

      The Military issue Berreta I used while deployed had that problem. The spring wouldn't feed the ammo. Having said that I have had no problems storing my personal handguns fully loaded. Hard teling how old those Berreta mags were or how much they were used.

      Feels good to be turning again.

      I haven't had much time to turn, or do much of anything, since moving from Alaska to Florida and having our second child.       Cross-Country Trip in Progress

      Well our long trip is finally over. We made it to Florida last Friday. We left Moab Utah and made it to Oklahoma City in about 16 hours. We stayed with In-Laws for 5 days. I got to see my father-in-law's 1972 Olds 442 that he restored. What a beautiful car. He also passed down several guns...

      Anyone have Tattoos?

      All mine I drew myself. The first one was a confederate flag, because i was a rebel when i was 18, then I got 2 scorpions one for each time I deployed to the desert.
