      Thoughts on Home Defense Shotguns?

great thoughts and ideas, INGO is awesome. No doubt the pump is reliable, it's just not what I'm use to. My thought is in HD there's no time for hesitation or second guessing. What ever the weapon of choice, it needs to feel natural. I guess range time would cure that.

Sears Model 5, 22LR lever action stuck

if I remember correctly the Sears Mod.5 was made by Winchester. The lever is pretty much stuck, maybe moves a 1/4 inch but that's it. I took the action assembly out thinking maybe an empty case got jammed, didn't see anything and action seemed to work fine. Put it back in and no action. Any...

      Thoughts on Home Defense Shotguns?

It kind of surprises me that auto loader shotguns aren't more prevalent in the home defense verity compared to the pump action guns. It seems in the hand gun world the semi auto has been the standard for years. In my own experience (admittedly limited) I have had many more cambering issues with...

      How many shotguns?

Haha, the marketers have really done their job, having us believe we need to shell out big bucks for specialized equipment for every little thing. Some good advice here though for those just starting out. One gun, couple barrels, hand full of chokes. The main thing is get out and shoot. Stay in...

      12g shotgun hulls.............

I am just getting started in reloading, is there an advantage to "once fired" over new shells? Also, looking online I see "skived" or "unskived", does this refer to fired or unfired? I am unfamiliar with that term in reference to shot shells.

Boone and Hendricks county online EMS scanner

good coverage for Hendricks co. Until I become more familiar with the area is there a list of dept. call signs? Such as; I think the state police use call sign 52-___ and I think Brownsburg is using "Edward or Mary"

      In. Counties uphold second amendment

I saw a news blurb this week in the Indianapolis area about a couple (hopefully more in the near future) Indiana counties putting in place laws that would uphold the second amendment rights in the event of federal gun bans. I didn't get to see the whole story and cant find it on their web sites...
