      5.56 Suppressor Suggestions.

I have a Yankee Hill 5.56 on my 16 inch Colt M4 and it is absolutley fantastic. The sound reduction is approx 35db and it is very comfortable to shoot without hearing protection outdoors. It doesnt add much weight to the end of the weapon and it is right in the $500 dollar mark

      Stout Field Gun Show/Henry luck

The Stout Field Gun Show was fantastic this time around. I saw multiple great prices and was able to trade my old Taser Pulse that I used working security and $150 for a Henry 30-30. Total cash value for the rifle paid was $450. In my excitement I unfortunately did not notice that my rifle...

Tale of a Lost Bolt or how $15 buys a lot of Value at US Defense Solutions

That's just one of the many reasons I spend so much time and money in their shop. Its hard to find good people these days

Does anyone carry a .22 cal? In what

I carry a .22 magnum derringer in my pocket every day. Work is a no go on carry so that really limits what I can do. I figure a 5 shot 22 mag in the pocket is better than nothing at all.

      Carrying in Hospitals in Indiana?

Eskanazi is a facility that houses inmates for medical treatment, as is Community South and Community North. If there are special deputies roaming the grounds, not security guards its a fair bet that the hospital is used as an emergency treatment center for DOC. Therefore it would lawfully be...

Not using belt loops with a 5.11 belt

I'm one of those people that wears pants for 2-3 days at a time, don't know why, just how I am. Why not leave a pair of jeans set up with a holster and gun belt with all of your stuff on it, then when you leave the house drop the shorts or sweats and pull the jeans on. Boom, everything you...

      Returning member

I had some family and financial issues and did not have a computer or smart phone with internet access for quite some time. I also have been working a massive amount of hours. Combine that with a major move and working to upgrade my standard of living and you have a busy guy with no time...

Prepping for everyday comfort vs. SHTF

Obviously most of us here are fairly preparedness minded. We all have extra food, ways to procure water, plenty of firepower and can handle many situations put towards us with ease, grace and discipline. Does anyone else consider themselves what I would call a comfort prepper? Obviously, we...
