LOL, Cracks me up when gunners use Hollywood movie jargon to sound like they can speak "shop"! Handle is just plain funny but "clips" for magazines is a dead give-a-way that he is a newbie or worse yet a know-it-all that doesn't know diddly. -

You get three handgun / Longun combos; what do you choose for your three? mine are: Henry or Marlin lever & SW 686 .357mag Henry Golden Boy & SW 617 .22lr AR15 & Glock 23 w/9mm conversion barrell .223 & .40/9mm i think I cheated a bit.- mjblazor

12 Gauge pump?
It is sad that we support and accept the crappy finishes that Remington (Marlin, Winchester,and others) are putting out. I like Remy's for what they are. What they aren't is nicely finished. They look cheap. But, best of what is available is all they deserve to get credit for. -

Really, things you see at the Gun Show
and maybe everything is fine and this guy is just an inconsiderate buffoon? That is possible. I agree, a gun show is not a family affair too stroll in your infants. There are better places to take and teach young kids about guns and there are definitely better places to spend time with babies.- mjblazor

I've shot exactly three different Kimber 1911's from three different Kimber loving friends of mine. All three had some problem either clambering, ejecting, firing, etc***rounds the first and only time I shot them. Would the Kimber Kool-Aid Kids just shut their trap on how great those things are...- mjblazor

PPK/s went full auto
After reading all the posts in this thread does anyone know if this is a common PPK issue? I love the PPk/s and currently own one. It is one of (5) I have owned in the past few years. It is a like new Manhurin made ppk/s. Manhurin (France) actually made the "made in Germany" ppk/s that Interarms... -

wow, yes! I posted a thread on here over a year ago about it. I purchased a used IA PPK took it home and cleaned it. When I de-cocked it after chamfering a round it tripped the firing pin and blew off the (4) rounds I loaded into the mag. Funny thing is I did not realize at first that all rounds... -

What current guns might go the way of the dodo and become collectable
i just purchased a new sold as used Manhurin ppk/s for $350 at Cabelas! If anyone knows the history of these they know that Manhurin built ALL of the post WWII "Made in Germany" PPK's and variants. The Walther plant was annihilated during the war and the Walther family contracted with Manhurin...- mjblazor

Ruger Single-Seven
Isn't the ammo hard to find and expensive? I sold a LNIB older SW .32 3" barrel revolver with 99.9% bluing. I loved the gun but while fun to shoot could not justify shooting it over my 4" SW 617 .22 revolver which is just as fun and much cheaper. I would have kept the gun if ammo was easier to... -

Who here doesn't own an AR and why?
I don't own one. They don't interest me "yet"! I suppose someday I will. And if they ban them I guess I won't. I like levers and bolts better. I wonder how many AR owners out there haven't actually ever shot their guns? I know a lot have been sold but i really don't see a lot at the ranges... -

Shooting multiple calibers from one gun?
I just picked up a Glock 23 Zev Tier 1 upgraded (.40). I didn't really want a .40 nor wanted to pay that much but it was on sale lower than I've researched any others online and they added a Storm Lake .9mm barrel to boot and (2) 9mm mags! So while I paid more for a Glock than I wanted, I got...
