I've never bought a firearm from a 'box' store, but I was in one the other day and the had a Mossberg 500 with a smooth and rifled barrel combo for sub 300 bucks. They also have right now a Mossberg 500 special purpose for the same price range. Anyone ever had issues with buying from them? I...
I would love to go take my little brother and sister shooting but with Kodiak still closed, closest to me from Plymouth is I think over in Kingsbury. The range in town hasn't been used in I'm gonna guess long time. It's been 15 years since I was there. Them being so tight lipped is frustrating.
If I have a bag/pack with me I normally keep a second firearm in that. Someone else said it. One is none and two is one. I've never known anyone who needed to ATM a friend or anything like that but a little CC piece doesn't add too much weight, so it's easily justified. It falls for me under the...
The only firearm I've bought and didn't dry fit was a old nagant revolver. That's because the fitting pin is so long and creeps down to a very narrow point. The guy did let me hold the hammer back as I used the trigger to get a feel for it though. You have to know how the trigger feels before...
I feel bad sometimes if the LGS is really busy and I'm not sure if o wasn't too by or not. I've been to a few that when dealing with the clerks they act bored or distracted. I would think most would want you to make an informed choice. But at gun shows man people are johnny on the spot. Never...
I canceled my subscription to the local rag because of columnists like this individual. I get all my local news from a radio station now. He's entitled to his thoughts, far be it from me to think otherwise but I don't think I'd pay to be able to read them.
Jeremy Clarkson was pretty gleeful that CNN canceled his show. I'm glad, I wouldn't move to a foreign country and try to influence public opinion. You know, because I wouldnt really know what I am talking about.
Every auction I go to is hot or cold. Either the stuff goes for way over its actual value (compared to say buying it in a store) or way way way under to the point you almost hope they aren't counting on the proceeds to pay for something like final expenses.
My great grandfather had problems with the Dillinger gang as police chief in a small north central Indiana town. He would be very happy to see this item returned to the side of law and order and not in the hands of gang members. Also they need to talk to the mayor about trigger discipline.
You aren't required to do a background check when you sell a firearm. After someone else buys it, as long as they aren't like giving you a reason to think you shouldn't sell them that's all, you have no more legal requirement in Indiana at least to do anything else. They're probably going to try...
I find more 9mm than .380, I've not actively sought .380 in... about a year. I kinda just gave up looking. the S&W Shield is nice, very agronomic. The Ruger LCP is nice though too, I know a few shop keepers who have little LCP's stuck in their smock pockets just in case.
