      Choosing when to carry

Admittedly, I'm not one who goes out to many places, the wife and I are severe homebodies. However, I carry anywhere and everywhere. I carry within my home. Though not IN the shower, I always keep a gun within reach FROM the shower. Take a gun when I take a (shut'yo'mouth) number 2 (or 1, for...

      The Open Carry Argument

People, these days, are taught "do not trust anyone", heck, including themselves ("we're all capable of...") so why further raise their paranoia by open carrying. :dunno: Not unless you wish to go the Full-Monty and take it a step further, preaching and teaching about not watching television...

      Kahr Roll Call

CM9, wonderfully small, only used as a secondary, wouldn't feel comfortable as a primary due to the lack of loadage.

      Anyone else notice this?

Too true. Granted, it isn't my style, but hey...that's the beauty of capitalism. If you feel you are not getting what the gun is worth, don't sell it. Seems more like a lesson in economics more than anything else, if it turns out someone is willing to spend more than the original seller let it...

      Gun packing celebrities

Hypocritical in some of those cases, such as Pitt, Jolie, Goldberg, as they subscribe to an ideology (Liberalism) that is (as a whole) vastly anti-gun. Then again, Liberals hypocritical? Never!

Help me choose a pocket gun

The Kahr cm9's are absolutely tiny, I was surprised at how small it was when I first held it (and that was coming from a starting point of a Glock 19, not exactly a large gun), but are still very reliable and affordable. I'd go with that.

      First handgun

Glock 19 serves the first handgun needs more so than any other. There are better guns, but for the price, the mag capacity, being nearly full-sized, yet still very light and concealable, is powerful enough (9mm) without being too powerful, it's a jack of all trades (nightstand as well as...

      New hispanic question?

Yeah, well, I don't like being referred to as "Caucasian" (which is technically inaccurate, every bit as much as what is discussed involving Mexicans/Spaniards/etc), when I'm German/Irish/English (which Caucasian does not encompass), but thems the breaks sometimes, who cares ultimately, terms to...

      Gun Flash At Speedway

No, you should not have called the cops. Why would you?!?!?!? Strange. And "trashy looking"?!?!?!?!? Gee whiz, give it a rest. We, citizens, are not here to play pseudo-cops, which is what this crosses into the territory of.

      CCW?

Too true, that happened with me, they tried to peddle revolvers first, luckily I knew what I needed and stuck to my guns (so to speak). :):

I drank the Glock Koolaid today!

I'm a Glock owner. And Glock's are the best. Thus I am the best. :rockwoot:
