      I remain a big fan of Jerry Bissel belts. Full leather, cutomizable. I wear one everyday and have for the past 3 years. Still stiff and I am really hard on belts. His nephew runs the place now and can be found at armourbelts.com

      Thanks for all the help and advice. The hammer was not fully forward. And Like an old mule, a firm whack to the muzzle solved the situation.

      Thanks for all the advice. Turns out the hammer was not as far forward as it should have been when I installed the mainspring. All it needed was a sharp smack in the muzzle, kind of like a old mule. Guess i need to keep a mallet handy.
