The wife and I are considering getting into the polymer 9mm game, and we both really like the feel of the Walther PPQ. Is there anyone in the area that would let us try shooting one? I can provide ammo, and a place to shoot. Would be willing to cover gas money, or some additional ammo for your time.
Sold Pending Funds.
I am getting out of .308 reloading, and would like to sell all of this as a package. If I don't have a sale on this in the next week or so, then I will break it up and price it all individually. Price is for a face to face transaction, I am willing to drive a reasonable...

The wife and I just picked 50 lbs. of strawberries today, will be processing into jam, daquiri mix, and freezing some whole for shortcake through the year.
Strawberries are easy to process, and is a great intro to canning and preserving your own food. Nothing better than home made strawberry jam.:D
Tried out some test loads on a new rifle this weekend, thought I would share and maybe get some insights from you all.
The rifle is a Rock River National match upper, 20 inch stainless barrel with a 1 in 8 twist.
We worked up 3 test loads to get us started, 15 rounds to each load.

Ok,so I am hooked on trying out high power this summer. I even went so far as to talk my brother in law into letting me use his rock river national match rifle. Of course, he gets to use my .308 AR while I have his, but hey, I now have a rifle to shoot for this stuff.
I am not sure what to...
I am considering picking up an 11-87 sportsman, and am wondering if this is the right shotgun for me.
I want to be able to shoot clays, hunt, and maybe get into 3 gun competitions later on down the road.
Is this a good choice?
Last fall at Knob Creek my cousin and I got a great deal on .224 55gr pulled bullets.
I sat down and sorted through these bullets, and have 2 piles:
1 pile of good looking projectiles. These have minor to no damage to the projectile at all, they look really good to me. They feel nice and...
I have a bunch of 2x fired LC 5.56 brass that I am starting to process. This will be the second reload for this brass, my first time not reloading 1x fired brass.
The sizing was done on an RCBS rockchuker press, with RCBS small base x-dies.
I have since abandoned this die as I have...

I have a couple of different kinds of brass to choose from, and would like to hear thoughts on where to go.
I have 500 remmington once fired .308 cases
About 900 once fired Federal gold metal match cases
and...
I am processing .223
I have my dillon setup up with a decapping die in station 1, and my rt-1200 trimmer set up in station 3.
When/where am I suppose to resize the neck of my cases?
If I setup up the neck resize in station 1 of my reloading toolhead, what do I do about lube when I am dropping...
So you have decided to go to your first indy 1500. Congradulations! The 1500 is probably thhe biggest and best show here in the midwest.
A few tips and tricks:
Budget a LOT of time for this show. I have a tendancy to walk the tables at a decent pace, and counting stopping half way through...
I am getting ready to purchase an rt1200 trimmer for the 550, but am unclear on the case prep process once I get one of these. Normally I resize, which also expands the neck and decaps the brass. Will I need 3 different stations now? 1 to decap, 1 to size/trim, and one to expand the neck?
