My apologies to you, sir. If I had been more careful creating my first post about your topic, there would have been no misunderstanding between any of us to deal with. :)
Internet forums will always remain a poor substitute for face-to-face conversations.
Hmmm, I think my first post regarding the OP was misinterpreted by some of you. My sarcasm was directed at the Asst. Fire Chief. I certainly do not sympathize with anyone who deliberately abuses any animal, or human for that matter. Chances are, the A.F.C. thinks because he is a local big shot...
You'd better, or I'll have to send a list of your names to President elect, Obama, so you can have the pleasure of being the first gun owners to lose your right to carry after he is sworn in. :D
Well, I'm truly sorry I'm not able to provide you with pictures of the incident I described to eliminate any doubts you might have concerning my act of self-defense against a vicious, uncontrolled animal. But I was a little too busy at the time to get off any snapshots; with a camera, that is...
I once shot and killed a German Shepherd dog that attacked me on public property with the negligent owner present. To make a long story short, the owner whined to the prosecutor that I murdered her gentle, family pet that wouldn't hurt anyone, so I was charged with cruelty to animals. However...
If the Asst. Fire Chief severely beat a playful, 'baby' dog, he should be tried for cruelty to animals. If, on the other hand, this "six-month old shepherd mix" * was big enough to viciously inflict grave bodily injury or even kill, then the owners of this dog should be charged with an offense...
I'd be concerned about who would pay my medical bills if I were injured while performing such a good deed. Since victims of car theft are required to pay the impound fee on recovered property, I don't think the money is going to come from community coffers.
I remember working as a night...
I'm glad you liked it. :)
Of course I can't provide an exact date for the next gun show sponsored by the L.C.C.C., but it will take place during the Spring of '09... That is if we're still "allowed" to own firearms by then.
No credit card debt... Why, you aren't even normal. You shouldn't be allowed to own those evil gun things. :D
Seriously, my wife and I don't use credit cards. It's refreshing to see that someone else has the good judgment to avoid credit card debt.
And if the doctor considers this, or any other diagnosed disorder psychological, the patient can obtain a signed statement from them stating that the patient is neither a menace to themselves or anyone else. Simply send this document with your LTCH paperwork, and you will be good to go.

Pathetically, especially in this supposedly enlightened age, there is still a primitive, socially reinforced stigma that haunts even those who have made the rational decision to voluntarily consult a psychiatrist.

Gun show patrons can also join the club while they're there. Initial membership dues are $60.00. Annual renewel dues are $50.00.
I've been a member of this club since 1993. I shoot there at least once every week, weather permitting, of course. :)
The Lost Creek Conservation Club is sponsoring a gun show on Sat. the 8th, and Sun. the 9th. Admission is $3.00 for adults.
The L.C.C.C. is located at 1330 N Main Street just south of Seelyville.
I once worked as a security supervisor for a division of an international corporation. It was my duty to enforce company policy, rather I agreed with it or not. But, when I was given the order to write employees up for smoking in their vehicles when they drove onto the parking lot, I took a cut...
My wife and I were both classified as disaffected.
We both found some of the questions difficult to answer because they required cut-and-dried answers to complex issues.
Basically, we're both political moderates, except on moral issues... I suppose we're just hopelessly unenlightened bigots...
You mean you don't feel all warm and cozy with all those security cameras monitoring your every move, and all the movements of everyone around you?
With all those wonderful protective cameras zooming in on us, we might as well turn in our politically incorrect firearms. After all, if we're...
