      What is your 1980's Loadout?

Sorry, BDM didn't come out until 91. I remember lusting after them. For me, SIG 226. Heck, the one I have was made in 1986. :) As an A-Team fan I'd end up with the Mini 14 too. Probably just an 870 for the shotgun.

      Knobstone Trail

Depending on recent rain, you might get lucky with water, but don't count on it. Even in the Spring water can be sporadic to non-existent. https://www.in.gov/dnr/forestry/4224.htm

      Chippa Rhino ?

My wife has one and likes it, 40DS. Felt recoil is much lower than a similar gun. They are lighter than they look, much of the frame is aluminum. It's a fun gun, but neither of us carry it.

$30,000 guns & accessories on company credit card.

I have a state credit card and the restrictions and review on it are beyond belief. There are a lot of purchase categories that are blocked from purchases. As a quick example, a purchase for jewelry will be denied, even if it is a general purchase at the jewelry counter at a place like Wal...

$30,000 guns & accessories on company credit card.

Most people that do this start small. He likely bought a small personal item on the company card and didn't get caught. Then he went bigger. Then he figured he could get away with even more and started falsifying receipts and documents. He got over confident and eventually got caught. Most...

      .22 Revolvers

I really like my S&W 63-3 with a 5" barrel. I had to look for a long time to find one. The 8 shots make it fun. Generic photo

What will be the next big development in firearm technology?

I think there is potential for something big with caseless ammo. It would mean a handgun with electric ignition, but there is some cool things you can do with that, including multiple rounds in a barrel/cylinder.

      early/preproduction gun

The Maxim 9 seems like the nearly perfect home defense handgun. After you mention all the extras like barrel, sights, RMR mount, it really is not a bad price. I'd say the Maxim has the compactness advantage, it's much shorter than a regular handgun plus a can.

      early/preproduction gun

I'd love one. Normal price on a production version is $1200ish, which is not horrible considering the suppressor. This serial #1 is odd though.
