      Smart phone application??

what are you talking about? i can "browse fine" using the browser too with "no problems".....but using Tapatalk is 10 times easier and simpler and makes it worth it. ... anyone that tries to say otherwise is completely misguiding themselves and anyone else

      Smart phone application??

Being an avid forum user, a member at many many of them, and the proud owner of a large 4.8" screen Galaxy S III, I can tell you no forum loads and works as well as one that has Tapatalk integration. From a user perspective, there is zero reason to use the web browser for forums if the site you...

      Renewing/Applying for LTCH...

if thats all it was, it won't be a problem, I had one when I was 19yrs old in 1995 and got my Lifetime carry permit in 2011

      Current LTCH Wait

I am in the same exact boat. Wallet was lost/stolen. Filed paperwork/paid fee to get replacement but of course they don't have a electronic way to get a replacement so it's snail mail only.....been a month or longer for me and haven't seen anything....but it is nice to know that I can carry...

yeah, i didn't take the time...I made sure to sign and laminate it, haven't had it long enough to hardly make a copy.......thought I had and when I went to look for it it wasn't there, **** happens and hindsight is 20/20 anyone know how long it takes to get a duplicate, other than reminding me...

anyone know how long it takes to get a replacement? wallet was lost so I have to order a duplicate, but there is no electronic way to do that, only snail mail....

You didn't pay the $75 state fee online with a card I would guess. You probably filled out the form online, went to the L1 site, made an appt to get printed, went to the local cop shop and because the state part had not been taken care of prior they handed it to you because it still had to be...

      Current LTCH Wait

thats why you don't do anything on paper....it's unnecessary and slows things down
    10. J

      Current LTCH Wait

why would you mail anything? when you went through the L1 site you are given the chance to pay the state fee $75, L1 fee like $12 and schedule a printing time and location. You show up, get printed, and then go pay the local $50 to either the city or county depending on where you live, in...

Indiana doesn't require any notary, just FYI, in the event someone else sees this.

coworker just had the same experience, I walked him through the entire process from beginning to end, did it all online, through L1, etc...and it was only a few working days when he received his

      LOOKING A COMPACT .45

I would counter the "she needs to be tough to shoot a 45" argument with real world evaluation by my wife recently between a 380 Auto and my 45ACP auto. She actually felt the 45 which is a 22 ounce model was much easier to handle and shoot and felt the 380 actually had worse recoil and was less...

      LOOKING A COMPACT .45

The PT145 I have is rather accurate with a 3.25" barrel. A subcompact 45 ACP is meant to be a point blank kind of weapon anyways, if I can group several rounds in quick succession within a 6 inch diameter from 10 or so yards away I am good with it. Lots of info out there on 3 inch 'ish...

      looking for a 380

I can not recommend the Taurus TCP .380 (738TCP). My wife and I shot both my PT145 and the 738TCP and we both agreed the 45ACP was actually much smoother and nicer to shoot. The tiny light and no safety features of the 738TCP were undesirable and it actually had easily as much recoil and was...

      LOOKING A COMPACT .45

There are several suitable choices. I can only speak to the one I own and have run rounds through. That's the PT145 45ACP. Mine has been flawless so far. 22 ounces, 10+1 with a standard double stack magazine. It is 1.25" wide at the grip so for long duration carry with an IWB holster it can...

      Handgun Failure

Well that's unfortunate, went out this weekend in the backwoods of GA and broke in my new PT145 Mil Pro. Ran like a sewing machine with 230 grain FMJ, 185 grain Hornady Z-Max and a couple + P hand loaded 96 grain MagSafe rounds. Very pleased with its accuracy as well.

Flying to Georgia and driving back, taking my gun.

Flying to Georgia and driving back, taking my gun.

I am about to make the same drive, actually to the same exact area, Augusta, GA. Will be going through GA, TN, KY, home.. In Indiana I can carry fully loaded in person or car. I haven't found anything place that tells me if I need to unload in a particular state or lock the ammo in a...

anyone use a Deep Conceal Max Double Strap?

So I received the TRUSS. I ordered it in black, cross draw. I like it other than the fact I am pretty limited in wardrobe when using it, have to almost wear some sort of button up shirt unless you go ghetto and leave your shirt hanging out, which would still be an awkward draw. I knew this...
