.45ACP Reloaders: I have $500 and know nothing

Just remember that the powder charge for a 45acp will be very small in the case -- 5.1 grains of Winchester 231 is what I use and you could literally put 20 grains in the case without a problem and cause a overpressure reaction in the barrel which is a very bad thing. So: Go Slow (for now)...

      Semi Autos with Conversion Barrels

CZ 75 has the Kadet kit (about $300) that replaces the slide of the CZ 75 (and a few other models). With the Kadet slide installed the weight is minumally changed -- really can not tell the difference. Shoots great -- Highly recommended. EAA (CZ Clone/Copy/etc) has a kit that you get both...

My Father-in-Law has the Hornady LNP -- it appear to be a great press also -- and they run specials with free bullets. UK

      Corn Cob Media

I use with good success -- I purchased a couple of Home Depot plastic buckets with lids for storing -- Cheap and sturdy. The only issue I have is it produces dust that will go everywhere if the lid on the vibrator is open or when you open the lid without letting the dust settle. UK

.45ACP Reloaders: I have $500 and know nothing

I reload 45acp on a Dillon 550B -- You can get one for about $450 delivered I think -- Great Machine with a great company standing behind it and the 550 can also be used for rifle which saved me on 223 reloads and maybe 308/30-06 down the road Dies -- I use Lee on it without a problem for...

      I hate Spike's Tactical

      New to me Sig556

I have always considered a 556 -- espcially when they were just below $1000 a couple of years ago. If you can -- How is the accuracy compared to an AR -- any input would be great. UK

      Grease or Oil for AR

I use grease on the outside of the bolt but Synthetic Mobile 1 on the inside of the bolt. The grease stays where I want it while in storage -- but I like the oil on the internal parts UK

      CZ owners

I have 4 CZ -- 85 Combat, 97, and two CZ P07 -- great gun and great company to deal with. They replaced one of my P07 without discussion when the mags would not drop free. The 75 is a great gun -- but a full size pistol and would be hard to conceal -- but doable. The same design is offered...

      Best 380???

I have shot the Sig 238 -- nice gun, well designed -- Simple and effective. I owned a S&W PPK/S -- Great look but alot of small parts, S&W replaced a spring that flew and hid in the basement for free (and shipped for free) -- Would get another at the right price. The design give the pistol...
