      LTCH on temporary DL

      From what I understand, when moving to IN from out of state, they issue you a temporary driver's license, before your official driver's license comes (takes about a week). In addition to proof of residency and other documentation required, will the temporary DL be enough to get a LTCH?

      Lifetime LTCH - What's the catch?

      Other than cost, is there a reason that anybody wouldn't get a lifetime LTCH? The one thing that springs immediately to mind is that the lifetime license wouldn't be able to be used to in lieu of the NICS check when purchasing a firearm (as the licensee is not re-credentialed every few years)...
