      WTT: Ruger SR22 - LNIB

      Is the SR22 still available?

      XDS thoughts

The XD line (XD/XDm/XDs) is a great choice for reliability, PD and range use. And another benefit are the many variations available for size/capacity that provide a consistent and familiar feel whether you want a larger home defense or smaller CC model.

1 expensive gun or 2 cheaper guns?

The decision is ultimately yours, but I would buy multiple instead of sinking all of my money into one. It's more fun to have options at the range and you can get different sizes or calibers for different situations.

      Breakfast Spots near the 1500??

I'll second the recommendation for Donut Shop - breakfast served all day. Good Morning Mama's is very good as well, but the wait gets long.

      Roll Call!

It sounds like a great excuse to check it out since it will be held in our back yard.

      First revovler recommendations?

Similarly, I went with the Ruger LCR. Both great options, but not the best options since looking for a longer barrel and not worried about concealment.

      XD

The XD9 was my first after thinking about a G19 for a long time. There was not a bad choice between the two, but I am very happy with my choice. It's comfortable in my hand, has been extremely reliable and I like the addition of the grip safety along with the trigger safety. It doesn't take any...

      Carrying IWB without safety

Congrats on the upcoming purchase. You can't go wrong with either option as they are both reliable. Make sure the selected holster conceals well and retains form for easy and safe reholstering.

      Which one would you choose?

Go with the G23. The price is great and should provide a quick resale opportunity if you don't like it.

Revolver For Wife. Hammer or Hammerless?

Seems like this thread had died but was resurrected, so I'll vote hammerless for the Ruger LCR.

      Plastic Gun Show-N-Tell

Nothing unique, but it was my first. The Springfield XD9 Service 4"

      LCR grips

I understand how the boot grip has it's advantages, but I love the fit and feel of the stock Hogue Tamer.

      Wheel Gun Show-N-Tell

Ruger LCR 38 Special with LaserMax Laser and speedstrips. Need to get an IWB holster.

      NRA Convention

Naturally, I would expect a gift bag with an assortment of guns and shooting supplies from the various exhibitors.

Dry firing at the gun shop counter?

Asking first is key, but seems like it would be a better idea for shops to have a few snapcaps available and offer the opportunity.

      List of Indiana Gunsmiths

Any suggestions for an experienced gunsmith to change sights on an XD?

      Ammo!

If only Walmart had a good online stock checker for ammo - although it would probably be sold by the time you get there.

      My current 1500 list

I have the same problem which is annoying since the minimum when I joined was 10 posts.

      XDm Sight Install.

I need the sights changed on an XD. Have you changed the sights on this model before? If so, what is the cost and turnaround time? Please PM me. Thanks!
