      No good deed goes unpunished...

Gearing makes a huge difference too, especially when upsizing tires.

My first NFA Item - Suppressor!

Dead Air Nomad (with Keymo if you want QD) The only plus I see for you with QD would be moving between different thread pitches (assuming your AR pistol is 5.56), otherwise would run it direct thread and you could always change it out later.

Serious topic, what if they ban the AR-15

This is key. Feelings not facts. An emotional reaction against a firearm that has been used in a very small percentage of crime (IIRC 2-3%), but looks scary and has been able to be turned into talking points to play well on the news. (gotta think of the children...) It can be chipped away to...

AR15 Conversion kit to .22lr, any good? Worth having?

Similar experiences with the CMMG, ran fine but had to keep it clean and wet. Did have malfunctions from it once when it got cruddy that resulted in it not functioning properly-resolved with a wipe down and oil

      Any Jeepers in here?

Not as familiar with AR, but SW MO has a lot of options. There is SMORR if looking for a park, and a lot of gravel county roads if looking for something nontechnical in more of an over landing type experience such as the Glade Top Trail

Ideas for a handgun for my wife

With the preface that I understand the OP was close to six years ago...I think it is important that folks understand we aren’t necessarily best suited to pick a pistol for other people, especially our wives. It is best to let them handle them and pick for themselves, though we can point in...

Serious topic, what if they ban the AR-15

Do you mean like labeling those with opposing viewpoints, those with conviction to say “no more” as extremists? Many here have watched as “reasonable gun control” was focused on cosmetic attributes of a firearm type that invoked an emotional response. As the law abiding have been demonized for...

      CZ P10c

Another +1 for the P10. I have the suppressor ready model and like it a lot. Good trigger and runs well suppressed and unsuppressed.

Considering a Pistol Caliber Carbine...which is best?

Hopefully you are enjoying your Banshee. I have one and really like it. It suppresses well-notice it is a bit gassy with higher rates of fire on an indoor range but don’t notice it when outside.

Help me decide on a new pistol

Curious what you didn’t like about the CZ P10c. I usually carry 1911’s, HK USPs or a Ruger SR9C, but have been breaking in a CZ P10c and have been pretty happy with it so far.

      Ed Brown is coming!

:bs: I bought mine for the quality that matched my personality, not the perceived personality of one other individual.

Anywhere to Shoot near Branson, MO

There is a MDC public range off of 65 north of Branson, closer to Ozark (Busiek Wildlife Area). I haven't shot there, but my brother used to go frequently.
