Looking at a 308 need help

So why the Ruger? I'm looking for some reasons not just cause I like savage or Ruger. I'm interested in the 6.5. Expensive round and 308 is readily available cheap as well as match rounds.

Looking at a 308 need help

So I'm in the market for a 308. I'm looking at the savage trophy hunter and the savage axis II. I have also looked a bit at the Ruger American. I'm still leaning towards the trophy hunter. I guess I like the package the action is better than axis. The scope is decent Nikon 3-9 with a BDC...

      Winter AR project

Lol didn't say I had put a bunch of effort in!!! My word man it's deer season and Indiana hasn't figured it out yet to be able to use larger calibered riffles. Just really thinking about it and telling my wife now so she can flip out now instead of later lol

moved to country...looking for shotgun / rifle

just looked at at that post and I'd say pass. Not a great deal. However I have a mossberg combo in synthetic furniture and the rifled barrel was cantilever with a scope for 289 brand new. Love this combo I'd check the shops before buying that gun in The post honestly.

      Summit Lake

Not much luck cat fishing here. Good blue gill though. Better if u have a small boat and motor to go out in deeper water or into the creek.
