      Indiana Multigun Match #3 - April 19 @ Wildcat

      Great match, Stages were challenging but straight forward. No mickey mouse BS and the best shooter was...still the best shooter. Thanks to Tony, Sean and the rest of the wildcat crew.

      Jon, I understand your frustrations, but you have to understand some realities. Wildcat is the closest match to me, approx 1.5 hours. Atlanta and Hillside are both 2.5 hours. Gas prices as they are, I am already spending $30 to $50 in gas alone to shoot these matches. There is no way i can...

      That WAS a fun match. Took the first 3 stages to knock the rust off but the last 2 and the slug side match were on the up side.

      Both of my bolt rifles are factory rem 700's. Neither has ever seen a factory round. To my knowledge, no one produces match grade 7mm-08 or 243 and if they did it would be impossible to justify the expense of buying enough ammo to re-zero for this match. Jon, I understand they are not your rules...

      Bullseye

      Looks like bullseye is a dying game. When I started shooting competition in 1967, it WAS the only game in town. It is a demanding sport,and I shot it hot and heavy on the Indiana national guard team for four years, But I find I enjoy USPSA and multi gun a LOT more.

      The only club that I know of locally that shoots NRA bullseye is the Valparaiso pistol and rifle club(vp&rc). It is club members only to shoot and they shoot indoors on thursday evenings. You might contact NRA about any sanctioned matches as they are the governing body.
