Hey guys. Thought I would let you all know that the McDonald's located on Sixth Street in Vincennes is not a supporter of the second amendment and neither is the Vincennes police department. Went to lunch yesterday with my roommates, me carrying a Glock 19 OWB, one of them carrying an XDM 45...
I'll be traveling through Ohio on my way to Pennsylvania in about a month. Does Ohio require me to have my firearm unloaded when passing through or is it like Illinois where I can keep it loaded if I don't exit the vehicle?
I came across this series on youtube and thought I would share it with all of you. They put people in self-defense situations and evaluate their reactions.

I have accepted a summer job in Iowa and very excited about this opportunity, but now I have a question about the status of my LTCH. I will be gone for 3 months, keeping the address that ISP has on file as my permanent address. Am I required to update them with my Iowa address? Will my LTCH...
At around 11:00 PM this evening two officers showed up at my on-campus apartment looking for "weapons" from "an anonymous tip." There are no weapons in my apartment. After threatening to "destroy" my room looking for them, I started recording for my safety. I honestly feel that if I wouldn't...

And article link that describes the man firing at the younger kids as they flee.

Just noticed this is a repost, sorry. Carry on, nothing to see...
I hear this all the time around here and have had some discussions with people who feel differently. Are there actually any cases of people being shot with their own gun when an officer attempts to disarm them? I would like some evidence to back up my reasoning on not informing.
Am I correct in assuming that this entitles university officers to seize property, such as a firearm, that may be legally owned if it is in defiance of university policy?

If a bad guy has shot someone, and is fleeing like in the video above, are you justified in using lethal force? My worry is that by the time I drew to dispatch the threat, he would have...
A recent discussion on here made we wonder about this. I understand you only point your weapon in fear of your life or those around you. Hypothetically, a man comes in with a firearm, not pointing it at anyone, and attempts to rob the business you are in. After taking cover and drawing down on...
I'm assuming it is legal, but I figure I will ask for the sake of discussion. If I were living on a University campus with regulations against firearms, and I did not have a LTCH, and had a firearm in my residence (be it dorm or apartment, please differentiate between the two if there is a...
Overall, this is a wonderful holster. Probably the most comfortable holster available. I chose this holster because in the videos I had seen, it covered the entire slide. The version I got did not cover the entire slide. It is still very comfortable and without the silly crosses on the...
I'm tired of waiting on mine, and though the question has been brought up before, I have yet to see it answered. I got my prints taken at the Morgan County Sheriff's Department on 9/21/12 and mailed them off the same day. If I go to L1 now, will it speed up the process at all?
Is there anyone...
Hello INGO, long time lurker. I finally gave in and made an account because this question is really bothering me. Under IC you are allowed to transport a handgun to your new residence if you are moving. What constitutes moving? I am going to stay with my girlfriend this weekend and am...
