Take a look at a Trijicon MRO. I was in the market for a red dot recently and was going crazy researching. I was able to look through a few options at various box stores and landed on the MRO. The glass is extremely clear and the “issues” in early models have been eliminated after serial number...
I don't have any personal experience with HTA, but I recommend a little research before you jump right in. They've had their name ran through the mud, even here on INGO. Just my 2 cents... I was in the same situation with my first NFA purchase and went the .22 can route. Like you said, there...
They must be in good with Tactical Solutions, because every rep I talked to pushed the Axiom. Dead Air has the be one of the hottest new names and Silencerco has to be the most well known... So there's definitely something going on.
I researched this very topic for well over a month before I finally made my choice. I landed on the Mask HD... Now all I can do is wait! ... I liked the baffle design for easy clean in tumbler or ultrasonic cleaner, and the look and feel screams high quality. I was back and forth with the...
Thanks again for all the info! The riser is definitely something to consider, a lot of people have mention diproductsinc.com for various parts... So they must make quality products. .475 seems to be the most common thread length, where did Savage come up with that measurement?! ... Especially...
How hard is it to drill those holes through the stock? Seems like it would be tough to get them straight? However, the finish product looks functional. Thanks for the info.
Awesome to see more responses! Thanks for the info... I couldn't find any info on the Gem-Tech spacer (as far as width) any idea? Need something .075 on .475 thread right? Is it possible to have the threads cut to the correct length, and avoid the spacer all together?
Looks like I'm going to pick up one of these in the next few months while I await my suppressor... If the threads don't work out perfectly, I'll deal with it then. Thanks to all who responded, all input was appreciated!
Thanks again for the responses, looks like the Huntertown fits a little more flush than the Gemtech. I have a Dead Air Mask HD in jail so I will compare specs against the 2 cans in your photos. Looks like the "Tacticool" stock is a popular choice, but I can't get past the additional weight...
Thanks for the responses! Which suppressor do you use?!... And does it thread all the way on without any exposed thread? Most .22 suppressors are spec at .400 of thread and I have read that some of the Savages are .475 leaving a small space. Thanks.
Looking to purchase a threaded .22LR bolt action for suppressor use. I've narrowed it down to the Savage FV-SR (best bang for the buck.) My question is has anyone purchased this model recently?... If so what is the length of thread at the end of the barrel? I've read multiple answers and was...
Thinking about sellin my Nikon M-223 1-4 with Nikon M-223 mount and buying an Aimpoint Pro. The main reason is the ability to shoot open sights and I like the quickness from target to target. Just looking for opinions and insight from Aimpoint owners. Thanks in advance!
I own an RRA Operater II, and love it. I have never had an issue with mine, and I would reccomend it to anyone. The 2 Stage trigger is outstanding! Go for it and don't look back!
I have a Savage 93 .17hmr... But I have always taken my 10/22, it does get a little heavy after walkin through the woods for a while. If you are taking long distance shots, the .17 may be the ticket. I am just not a fan of squirrel hunting with a shotgun... So I may be biased.
