I would find out what is attracting them. There must be a food source near by such as a neighbor dumping animal carcuses, farmer not disposing of dead livestock properly, etc.
and no I did not change my name just for this reply.
:)
How big of tanks are they? Stock tank heaters should work. Definately get the submersion type not the floating ones. If they are plastic tanks make sure you get a heater compatible with plastic tanks. They will have some sort of frame work to hold the heating element away from the tank enough to...
Thanks Tommy, I'll check that out too.
jrclaxon...SASS events are definately an interest, but I gotta get the right revolvers first. I still might go and watch this year to experience the event. Yosemite Sam was always one of my favorite cartoon characters.
WOW! Jake thanks for the info......I think I will look into this further as well for something to work towards. It sounds interesting. I think I will also look for a "non-moving" competition to get my feet wet.
Looks like I have some more homework to do! :)
Ignorant comment.
:noway:
Absolutely ridiculous comment.
I have a Bersa. I for one am very happy with it. I could also afford to walk into a store and buy a PPK, or Kimber, or even both, but I would not hesitate to buy another Bersa.
Congrats Drako. I have a Bersa Thunder and am very happy with it. Since this is your first gun make sure you clean it well before you use it the first time. They are shipped with a protective "grease" rather than oiled parts. This is great for preventing rust while it's on the store shelf but...
That appleseed project looks interesting, I might check that out later this month. IT sounds like they prefer military style rifles in semi-auto or bolt action. Is that correct? Would I be able to use a lever action?
The steel challenge might be a good fit too. Is there a good website you can...
I am looking to get into an amateur shooting match. I'm looking for suggestions of what would be a good starting platform for someone that has never shot in competition. I'm looking for something where I can "learn the ropes" without being chastised for being a rookie. I would prefer single day...
For outdoor stuff check out the Indiana DNR website. Links to all state parks and calendars of activities a lot of which are family oriented. When the weather warms up they'll be a lot of festivals and fairs especially in the smaller communities.

If you're thinking of getting rid of it, defiantely take the time to research its value. If it's old or unique, fire fighting equipment can be valuable. There are a lot of collectors out there. I see you're in Greenwood area, you could take it to Koorsen's. They service fire extinguishers and...
I was in there recently and saw posters of the proposed remodel. The gun section will be nice if it resembles the pictures on the posters. Hopefully, it won't raise prices just because the atmosphere is nicer. The prices are high enough already IMO.
Re-read what you wrote originally. Your grammar is wrong. (words in wrong order). The way you wrote your statement you were saying you were the reason it is a dump. He was just making a joke out of it.
I've had one for over 10 years now and love it. It has been reliable and isn't picky about ammo. I added the large loop lever so I could wear gloves in cold weather and still use it. The loop was an easy swap.
A couple of options....
If you don't mind ordering online, google Drierite. It's sold through a lot of sources. I use it in a cabinet at work and it is nice because it changes to pink when it needs to be changed. Just pour some in an open container in the bottom of your cabinet.
Another option...
