      WTS: Colt LE6920, Restricted Stamped

SOLD SOLD SOLD I'm selling my Colt LE6920 Law Enforcement Carbine 5.56 with the "RESTRICTED MILITARY/GOVERNMENT/LAW ENFORCEMENT/EXPORT USE ONLY" rollmark on the receiver. I bought it new in 2008/2009 and have only put about 500 rounds through it. It has been frequently cleaned and oiled even...

WTS: WTS Glock 22 , Brown frame, Ft. Wayne area.

BUMP. I've got this on armslist too, and have not had a single person even seriously try to look at this yet. I think the price is plenty fair, but I'm getting no action on it at all. So, How about $475 with trijicons, $400 stock with spare mags. Any offers??? Thanks. SOLD

A stupid AR "bridging the gap" question...

Gander Mountain closing at Southlake Mall after 23 years

Hard to disagree given their prices. That said I never thought I'd buy a gun from them and a month or two ago they had the lowest price on what I was looking for. I was amazed, then I heard they were maybe going bankrupt like the next day. Too bad they had to do themselves in to get competitive...

Gander Mountain closing at Southlake Mall after 23 years

Kinda bummed to hear this, some of my oldest memories about hunting are of being a kid going there with my dad to get hunting gear. It was so big and cool then. I was under the impression that all ganders were going south (pun intended) but seriously with the bankruptcy rumors and all.

      Comcast Solicitor, or House Casing?

Does anyone know if Comcast/xfinity solicits door to door using I'm assuming contracted people driving crummy old cars rather than professional comcast vehicles? I've made a small effort to contact comcast to ask them but when all I found was their 1800AUTOMATEDMESS number I gave up. I was out...

Can we clear up a term please

I'm going with it meaning, there's sexier more high speed low drag options available, but yeah it gets the job done. Why downplay it?, Imagine it were a highpoint. For the money it'll shoot, but if you up-play a high point . So I guess it's just acknowledging that you realize its ugly...

WTS: WTS Glock 22 , Brown frame, Ft. Wayne area.

SOLD I had this for sale back in february, decided to keep it, and now i'm selling again to help fund some jeep parts. I've actually converted it back to stock for a potential buyer who never showed up. I'm leaving my old description up just for disclosure as well as to give anyone who might...

Universal M1 carbine, 3rd generation. Restoration of a dangerous P.O.S., advice?

Well, it sure has been a long time, but here's some progress. I've got all the springs i need to finish rebuilding her and she'll probably be up on the wall as a display piece held up by my first deer's hooves like she were an old muzzle-loader soon.

Democracy 2.0 , I want It! Lets vote away the flaws in it!

If you haven't heard of democracy 2.0, the idea is simple. We all get online and vote on all legislation. :rockwoot: Woot Woot, I'm the BOSS! :draw:Now go do some research for more information. I'll provide one page, which I am in no way associated, with what I think is a decent outline for...

      Squib clearing

I heard, I think on the gun dudes podcast, that you always want to keep pushing it forward towards the muzzle. The reason was something along the lines of the jacket is being sheared / deformed towards the back of the projectile. If you push back towards breech you're fighting any metal that...

      Active shooter tip

I agree with all the "get out of dodge advice", and it freaks me out that the plan for my kid in school is just the opposite. By my kids explanation it seems that their plan is to lock all doors and hide. He's only in kindergarten so I'm not gonna tell him to jump out a window or something. ...
